Can an employer fire you for falsification of a timesheet if they knew that your timesheet was falsified?

Yes. In Ohio, as with most other states, subject to a few certain exceptions, you can be fired for good-cause, bad-cause, or no cause at all. The fact that they knew an employee falsified a timesheet doesn't matter one bit.
