Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio

Appeal in Medical Malpractice Law

I am not happy with the verdict in my medical malpractice lawsuit. I felt that I had little to no say so in how my case was handled my my attorney. I never once was able to talk with him or meet with him to discuss my case. All my conversation were with my family attorney that only said involved after he felt he was in over his head (his specialty his sexual harrasment cases). Living in Ohio, is it possible to appeal and what steps do I need to take?
