Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio

predisone leading to avascular nuecrosis

i had stomach problems and was on predisone for about 3 months tops, on and off. The side affects listed on the prescription i recieved said nothing of nuecrosis being a possilble side affect. Well now i'm in my twenties and have bilateral avascular nuecrosis in my hips. I've had one surgery so far and have been off work for almost 2 months because of this. I can expect more surgeries and pain and i was wondering if there is any legal action that can or has been taken for this problem. You would think they would have to list this side affect if they know about it.

Re: predisone leading to avascular nuecrosis

I am currently unaware of any litigation relating to prednisone and avascular necrosis. You will need to contact an attorney who specializes in drug product liability cases. These are different cases than medical malpractice cases.
