Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

signatures forged on deed.

signatures have been forged by a crooked mortgage broker. broker has criminal history for past offenses. How can we reinstate the deed to actual legal owners? He has allegedly sold our property. Since the signatures were forged, wouldn't this constitute theft of property?

Contact an attorney. You will need to file an action to clear up this situation. You may also want to go meet with the County prosecutor to file a criminal action.
