Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

What is an average cost to contest a will in ohio? How long does it take to get a decision? How easy is it to prove grounds that the will isnt valid? Can assets already distributed in the will be frozen if the will is in the process of being contested? Is there a certain time you have to wait before the executor may begin to honor the will?

A will contest action needs to be brought within three months of the filing of the certificate of notice of probate, which is generally filed within one month of the filing of the will for probate.

The costs would depend on the particular case. No two will contest actions are the same. The time to get a decision would depend on what county was involved.
