Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I have consistantly tried to obtain information about my fathers estate and the executor refuses to call back and or provide any information.

By law is this legal?

You can obtain some information about the estate by going down to probate court and looking at the file. In most counties the docket can be viewed online as well. While it will not tell you everything you may need to know, it can give you an idea of what has been done so far. Beneficiaries can also hire their own attorney to represent their interest in the estate. That is helpful in obtaining all the information since they are more cooperative when there is an attorney involved.
