Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Dying without a will

We have personal belongings at my stepfathers home and he refuses to let us have then back as well as he refuses to let us have any of my mothers personal belongings since she passed away. Since she died without having a will is there anything that we can do to get our things and any of her personal belongings from him?

If you find it worthwhile in financial terms, you can still open an estate without a will. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Best regards, Edward diCato
