Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My grandfather died last year in ohio and he had credit cards that my grandmother didn't even know about. The credit card companies are now harassing her everyday, telling her that she is responsible for the debt and that they will sue her if she doesn't pay them. I thought ohio was not a shared property state, but I am not sure. Most of the credit card companies accepted a death certificate as proof and wrote it off. Can you help me, she's going to lose her home if we can't figure this out.

Thank you,

Crystal Gisewhite

If these credit cards were taken out and used by your grandfather solely, she should not be responsible for the debt.
