Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I just lost my father. My sister totally excluded me from the funeral arrangements and acknowledgement of my family in the newspaper and at the funeral. I want to protest the will and need to know how to go about it.

I am sorry for your loss.

In order to contest the will you will need to file an action in the probate court where your father's will is filed. You will have approximately three months from the date the will is filed.

You must have grounds to contest the will such as your father was not competent to sign the will, he was under the influence of another person or that there was some sort of fraud involved.

I would suggest that you consult with an attorney as soon as possible to determine if you can file an action.
