If a person dies intestate and the decedent has real estate property and no next of kin, what happens to the decedent's property? How is the property distributed in the State of Ohio?

The Ohio intestate statute provides that property would first go to any spouse, if none to children, if no spouse or children to any grandparents, if no grandparents it goes to the decedants of grandparents. If the individual does not have any next of kin after looking for cousins etc. then it would default to the state of Ohio.
