Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I am presently caring for an elderly parent. Upon their death, can I enter a nursing bill against any estate left? If so, how do I go about doing this, and how would an amount be determined?

You should speak with an elderly attorney to assist you with this issue.

Whether your claim will be allowed depends on many factors. Some of the things that may help in making a claim is a written agreement with your elderly parent and detailed records of all time spent and the type of services provided. You will need to show that the time spent was more than a child would normally be expected to provide for a parent.
