My father had a will that left everything to my mother. She does not have a will of her own. I am the only surviving child. Does she need to have a will drawn up that will ensure all assets go to me?

It is recommended that a person who is widowed make arrangements for his or her estate. This might mean a will gets prepared, or that assets be transferred by deed or payable on death accounts, or some other ways. But arrangements should definitely be made.
