Legal Question in Workers Comp in Ohio

filing a protest

I was injured 4-26-07 while working, i hav a wcomp claim , my physician and orthopedic surgeon recommend surgery and my claim was denied, I was advised by my physician to hire an attorney and contest workers comp (WV) decision, how do I go about getting the proper form myself ? Each attorney I have contacted can not see me for 2 weeks should I be patient and wait or is that to long ?

The physician will not allow me to work and my follow up is in 6 weeks the pain is beyond severe , what advice could you give me.Although I live in Ohio, Iwork in West Virginia ( Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Co. ) is who my claim is with.

Most likely your claim should be handled in West VA and you will need an attorney licensed in that State.

You really should get an attorney rather than trying to go it alone.
