Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Are there grandparents rights in okla? My daughter passed away unexpectedly last Feb. She was married & has 2 children. We've always been a close family saw her & the kids everyday, & after she passed I kept the kids every day from early morning to night, & sometimes over night. My son in law has remarried & they are keeping the kids from us.

Grandparents do have visitation rights in Oklahoma under certain circumstances. These rights are granted by statute and can be found in Title 43 Ok St. Sec 109.4.

Here's a link to the statute: http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/DeliverDocument.asp?CiteID=63769

I strongly encourage you to meet with and obtain the advice of an attorney who is familiar with and experienced in this area of the law.
