Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

I signed up for a yearly lawn treatment from a company. On the first treatment to my lawn was weed control where I have seen no results/proof of work. Usually lawn services apply a color dye to see where they have applied the chemicals. When I walked outside I saw nothing but an invoice on my doorknob that they have completed the service. I called in about it and they said that they dont use color, and told me to water the lawn after 10 days, so I did. I havent seen any results but more weeds. Before my second treatment they called me when they were gonna have the next treatment and I tried to cancel but the clerk said I was locked in a year service. I complained that I have seen no results and didnt want anymore service, but I was still gonna get billed without the service because Im locked in, they havent even done any service only once which I see no proff of work. What can I do?

Please read the contract you signed. Does it provide for cancellation or termination. Follow those provisions.

If there are no provisions on termination, cancellation, then you may do the following:

Write a letter giving them notice 1) to correct the situation within a date certain (10 days is good). 2) If the situation is not corrected, then you are terminating the contract under the provisions of the contract.
