Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

Cable Pay Channels

When I moved into my current house I ordered basic television cable. However, after I moved in I found out that the cable company had given me pay channels in addition to basic cable. I called them once an told them to restrict my cable to basic cable but they never responded and I was never charged for the pay channels. After 18 months I finally called again and had the pay channels disconnected. The cable representative assured me that I had never been charged for the channels. Was I required to say something to them or is this like receiving an unordered product from a company and not being required to send it back? I feel quilty.
