drug abuse

my daughter plead guilty to drug abuse charge 2 others parphenilla and underage drinking were dismissed - she thought all would be dismissed when she entered the diversion program, 80 hours and fine $800-- she just told this to us (her parents) we wonder if there is anything we can do , it happened 3 years ago, she is graduating from grad schol- 3.8

what can she expcept hhow to answer the question of arrested ? felony ect.. please help us

It sounds like she CAN say that she has no convictions. She probably should expunge the record so they cannot find it in a background check. This is appropriate since this is the purpose of the law. Contact me directly for clarification since there may be facts I dont know in order to answer the arrest question.

Assuming that your daughter pled to a misdemeanor (which is very likely), that it was a first offense, that she has completed all the terms of her sentence, that she has not had any other offenses since that offense, and that a year has passed since the final disposition in the case, she may be able to do something.

She may be eligible to make a motion asking to have the record of the case sealed. That effectively means that it would be as if the case never happened. She can go about doing this sort of thing herself, or any attorney practicing in criminal law should be able to help.
