Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

Public Records

My husband was taken in to jail 2 weeks ago where he has been ever since. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2-2-07. He is charged with rape by instrumentation. My question is when does this appear in public records? I have checked everyday and they add new cases everyday (where arraignments have not happened yet - but are scheduled to happen in the next few weeks), cases where the incidents have occured after this incident about my husband, but my husbands case is not in there. The only thing in there is the Protective Order the woman who has made the charge has filed - that hearing is on 2-6-07. Has someone made a mistake somewhere? I'm not complaining because the less people who know, the better. I'm just curious to know.

Re: Public Records

The DA possibly has not formally filed the case yet. Once he files the case, it will appear in the court records. If you live in Tulsa County, it would appear on the OSCN records. In the rural counties, it may appear on the District Court records website under your county.
