Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
Marajuana
My brother was arrested for the possesion of marajuana with intent to distribute, cds marajuana, and paraphenelia(I don't know how to spell any of this) It is his first offense and he was riding in someone elses vehicle and this stuff was taped under the hood he had no idea but was charged. What will happen? He has no prior record.

First, he needs to hire an attorney or have the public defender appointed to respresent him. If he had no knowledge of the drugs under the vehicle hood, and no knowledge can be imputed to him by the circumstances, he shoud be able to avoid a conviction or even get the charges dimissed at a preliminary hearing.
