Legal Question in Elder Law in Oklahoma

My mother is 70 years old and is in the hospitol fighting tumors/cancer. My father has been a violent abuser for over 50 years with many instances of him pulling a gun and or knife on her(and us kids). About a week and a half ago she fled and has since been hospitolized. He has been showing up at her room trying to get her to come back to him. What can we(my two brothers and I) do to stop him from harrassing her. She has no intentions of going back to him, but in her weakened state he may be able to manipulate her. He has to be stopped. He had been escalating his violence to death threats against her before she left.

File for a Victims Protection order on behalf of your mother. She can sign it She will have to testify when the matter is set for hearing. All courthouse's have the necessary forms to fill out and sign. You will first receive a temporary order. Then it will reduced to a permanent order after the hearing.
