Divorce desolvement
Is there a legal form used to show that a divorced was never carried through? The couple reunited and decided not to finish the divorce requirements. They resumed thier marrage before the required 6 months was up.

If couple is within the 6 month period they can file dismissal of divorce case. If outside the 6 month period they can file a joint application to vacate the divorce decree. If a copy of the divorce was filed in the county land records and it is outside the 6 month period, you may need to take some action to nullify the effect that the record will have on title to any real property awarded in the divorce. Best advice, is to spend a few bucks with an attorney to get the problem resolved.
