Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

My company vehicle was involved in an accident in the summer of 2009. The person driving the other vehicle was at fault and cited for dui & no insurance. He is a member of the military reserves. He did no jail time for the dui and has not been charged or had any court date set for these charges. The vehicle that he was driving was being purchased from a salvage that was not licensed to sell road worthy vehicles and was not licensed to sell vehicles and take payments, both of which it did. I did not know if we had any legal grounds to sue the driver and the salvage company. The driver for the wreck and the salvage company because if they had not sold the vehicle to the individual then he would not have been on the road to total my service vehicle

Yes, you may sue. Take it to small claims. Also, go to the City attorney (if hte incident was in a city, District Attorney, if it was in a county), and find out why the other driver was not charged.
