If you came to USA on a valid visa, and still have proof of your lawful admission to USA, after marriage you can apply for permanent residency (it's not US citizenship, but lawful permanent residency or a green card). Your husband will petition for you, and you apply for a green card. If there are no deportability grounds and you are eligible for adjustment of status, the process can take about 4-6 months or sometimes longer.
