Does a non-paid volunteer board member of a non-profit organization need to have liability insurance in case there is a physical injury on the premises, etc.

Pertinent statutes are in Title 18 of the Oklahoma Code, in and around sections 865, 866, 867. Directors of non-profits have immunity against liability for negligent acts, but there are provisions for exceptions to the immunity; e.g., gross negligence, intentional torts.
