accused of theft at work

i work in a hotel ,a guest has reported a theft of property (computer equipment)of which i was the housekeeper loss prevention said they would tell the guest ,they spoke with me and this would be the end of it - problem is now i'm labeled as a theif i didnt take his property and dont even know what it looks like advice?

Have a local attorney subpoena the electronic records of the keylock system. ALso you should swear out an Affidavit re: your lack of knowledge/culpability.

Hotel guest should check with their HO INsurance re:coverage.Hotel has no liability usually per their posted policy re: valuables. Did the guest request a Vault storage option?
