Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Oklahoma

hospital stabilizing then refusing treatment

My sister was in an auto accident on Dec.18th, she has been in ICU until today(23 days)She was 6 months pregnant(baby had to be delivered--2lbs 9oz--doing good) My sister had a collapsed lung, broken pelvis and the main thing which was bruising and bleeding on the brain. She has been stablized and is off the ventilator.Due to the brain injury she is not very responsive and faces a long road ahead. The hospital now says that she MUST be transferred to the host hospital(where she was originally taken and then flown to trauma center) Our family do not want her in this other hospital. We would like her to remain in this hospital, because it has better care and because it is where her baby is.Can they legally kick her out?She is on medicaid, which is probably part of the problem. Thanks

Re: hospital stabilizing then refusing treatment

In my estimation the new hospital may be worried about any claim for medical negligence in case any problem occurs or complications are there in the matter and therefore they must be doing so. You may show your willingness and not held the present hospital responsible for curing earlier complication if any are there
