Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oklahoma

I received a dog bite from a neighbor dog, the owner of the dog is renting the house. Are they responsible for my medical, prescriptions, pain & suffering, mileage, and time I spent going to doctor? Would it be the full amount or the amount I paid for co-pays for the service and scripts?

I also was involved in a lawsuit, can we request the records that the lawyer have in there possession, they are our records, if they do not give me them up what options do we have?

Dog bites in Oklahoma are strict liability. I suggest you get a lawyer pronto to figure out the possible pockets of liabilty; ie, dog owner, dog owner's insurance, landlord, landlord's insurance.

You may have a claim for the full amount of charges, lost time, costs incurred, and something for pain & suffering. I suggest you get with a lawyer.

Regarding your records, ask for them in writing; keep a copy of your letter(s).
