executor
My father-in-law passed away recently, and none of his immediate family had been in contact with him for years. Upon going through his belongings, no will was found. But his ex-wife (they divorced about 7 years ago), found a will dated from 1988 naming her the executor of his estate. Due to the divorce is this will still valid?

A divorce revokes those portions of the Will which concern the ex-spouse; provided the Will was made before the divorce.
