Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oklahoma

Hi.

We are renters in which our landlord died. The sister of the deceased is pressing us to pay her for rent while probate is still in process and they have provided no documentation of who the beneficiaries are. Should we be paying anyone rent at this time while it is still in probate? From the reading I have read, the determination of all assets which I would assume rent is as well, is not fully determined who gets that until the completion from the probate courts. We don't want to pay someone we aren't sure is entitled. Thanks for your answers.

Any request for payment by an unknown source must be documented by, or supported by, court action or the sister must provide proof that she is the legally assigned executor of the landlords estate. And, the continued rent payments must remain in the Landlords name or business name and applied to his/her estate until otherwise determined by a probate judge or court of proper jurisdiction.
