oil lease heirs

I was last remaining heir to inherited oil leases. Do remaining leases that he was living off of come to me now. no othersurvivors ornew will . Death was unexpected.

If you're the last surviving heir, your would inherit all the property. Wow!! Hire an attorney to file an application to probate the estate. Try to find somebody who can get this done for you in 8-9 months (might take a little longer). Sorry to hear about your benefactor. Good Luck.

You really need to talk to a probate attorney.

You said there is no new Will but what does the old one say about the shares of heirs that predecease the Testator? It could make a big difference in what you get.
