statute of limitations

is there a time limit for prosecution on a duii. i pleaded not guilty but never went to court for trial or plea bargaining. it has been over seven years.could you tell me what my options are for resolving this and getting my licsence back

You have already appeared to enter a plea but the statute of limitations is inapplicable since you absconded and have failed to reappear. You can still be prosecuted. In addition, you could be prosecuted for intentionally failing to appear. You should speak to nobody about your failure to appear. Your case is complicated. You need to discuss the facts with an attorney to determine if you have any defenses. There is no statute of limitations on a bench warrant.
