my son rentd an apartment...500.00 deposit 464.00first month rent...200.00 to turn electic on..140.00

to turn water on...this is a total of 1305.00..his friends paid 250.00cash and lived there 3 weeks and decided to move out...they want thier money back....they are threating to take him to small claims..do they have a claim?

Unless they have a written contract with your son saying they get their money back, then they have no claim.
