Type your question here...i have a truck legally titled in my name (oregon) my brother took it from my dads property without my permission or knowledge and now refuses to give it to me or tell me where he has it. i have asked for it to be returned to me several times but he has yet to return it to me or tell me where it is. what are my options? can he be criminally charged? and if so what charges can i press?

Under the facts you have described, you brother has stolen your truck. You can go to the police, with your truck's title, tell the police he stole your truck and ask that he be charged with theft. If the truck is worth more than $1,000, he can be charged with theft in the first degree, which carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison and/or a fine of $125,000.
