Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

I was in a hit and run accident

I own a truck that was hit then the person got out of HIS truck asked if I was OK and then left..no info. I thought I got his license plate # but it was wrong. Police said it could have been switched plates. MY husband has the Insurance on the vehicle I was driving. I was injured. What claim do I have against this insurance since just recently the truck was put into my name bet the insurance is only in my husbands. When I called the insurance they said you dont have your insurace here. Mine is in a different city where I was living while my husband and I was sepperated.

What claim if any do I have against this insurance since the other truck cannot be found?

Your husband's policy and your policy should be liable but claims must be made against both policies immediately. Keep photocopies of anything you send or receive. Feel free to call me for a consultation at 503-999-8333.
