Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

Medtronic technician did not use sterile procedures on a surgical site after the sutures were removed, and as a result I got a staph infection which landed me in the hospital for a week and in bed for another 5 weeks. Staph infection is no longer present, but still have to have nurses come to the house twice a week to pack the wound. My husband does it on the days the nurses don't come. Do I have a case?

Yes, you have a good case for compensation. I do not handle cases like this, but the law firm of Kafoury McDougal in Portland does. You can reach them at 503-224-2647 or [email protected]. They provide an initial consultation visit for you at no charge, and they usually take cases on a "contingency" basis, which means that you do not have to pay them, unless they succeed in obtaining money for you from the entity that harmed you.
