Legal Question in Social Security Law in Oregon

back payment going to ex-wife

I filed for SSD in May 2004 and received my award letter June 2006. My daughter is signed up for her SSD, she's 15 and will be receiving a large lump sum for back payments, as I have also. My ex wife is the parent that signed her up and the checks will be coming to her in her name including the back payment check. I was paying child support on May 2004 until now. My question is legally my SSD was approved in May of 2004, My award letter states this, And child suppot was still being paid by myself to my ex wife and child support said my child support order would stop as soon as I received my SSD. There is thousands of dollars that I over paid to my ex and have I got a legal right to demand repayment of this money from her?
