what are future employers allowed to ask about an applicant

Generally, previous employers, education, reasons for leaving other jobs, whether yu have ever been convicted or pled guilty to a crime (other than a minor traffic violation). What they generally can't ask about is health issues (unless they would prevent you from doing the job), marital status, sexual orientation, religion.
