Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Repression

About 2yrs ago I got a car and paid on it for about a year then it got repoed because i coudlnt afford the payments. Well the bank at the time was Sky bank and now it is Huntington bank and they are threating to take me to court and garnish my wages if i dont pay them the money. i have had no knowledge and i thought that everything was settled. what is my legal obligation in this matter.

They cannot garnish your wages in Pennsylvania but they can take you to Court for the deficiency and execute on other assets. If they do take you to Court, you should probably talk to an attorney about the Motor Vehicle Installment Sales Act.
