Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My cousin had a old beat up 70's dodge that he fixed up. I asked him if I could take it for a drive. He said yes an we both hopped in the truck. We were going down the road an I gave it some gas an it spun sideways an launched me into a culvert ditch an totaled the truck. I paid $700 dollars for the tow bill for him to get his truck back an then he scrapped it. Can he sue me for more money for the truck?
