criminal trespassing

What am i looking at (jail time or fines?) if i was charged with criminal trespassing? it's my first offense.

Criminal trespass is a felony and could come with long jail time (up to 10 yrs.) plus fines. Depending on the circumstances, the sentence could be as light as probation...would be up to the DA's recommendation and the decision of the judge.

Without specifics (what you broke into and what happened there, etc.) it's hard to say more.
