Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Expungement for Felony

I'm wondering if I can get my criminal record expunged. I have 2 felonies and 4 misdemeanors. They were for burglary, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking. and criminal conspiracy to all 3. This all happened in 1998. I'm looking into the expungement of these records because I feel that I'm being discrimated against because of my criminal history and I'd also like to continue my education but fear that it may be a waste of time and money to continue my education and not being able to gain employment in that field. And if I can't get these expunged then I was wondering if I could get some info on a pardon.

Re: Expungement for Felony

When you say I Have 2 felonies, I am assuming you mean 2 convictions. Expugment only applies to those who were not found guilty and those who meet the statutory test.Generally you have to be 70 years old and have no record for 10 years. As to Pardons, they are the province of the Pardons board.
