Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I have a felony that is over 18 years old. I never had a problem before, but now every time I apply for a job they do a background check. I always lie and say I have no felonies. I was denied employment once and that was the only time I admitted to a felony before the background check. How far can they go back. Can a felony be cleared In Pennsylvania? Should I even bother considering how old it is?

Felonies are generally not expungeable, BUT you may be able to get a pardon if you have been trouble free since then.
