Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My fiancé ex literally lied to the police and asked to have harassment and stalking charges (Both misdemeanors) pressed on me. The charges were dismissed but it still shows I had to go to court for those horrible charges. I'm not sure if I would be passed over for employment, but I feel like it's a possibility. Can I have them expunged from my record even though it was dismissed?

Misdemeanor charges should count for much. However, there is a way to get them expunged. It's a fairly complicated process so you should talk to an attorney.
