Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

paraphenelia

the police came into my house under suspision of a meth lab. there was no drugs of the sort in the house, but they did find a tobacco hookah and a marijuana pipe..they got it out of a cupboard on the 3rd floor of my house, but in the report it says they got it from a table downstairs. they also lied about everything in the police report to quoting me on things i never said to how many officers were in the house. my roommate has the same charges and the same court date, and has a public deffender; while i do not have a lawyer because i make too much money to have a public defender, yet not enough to hire a lawyer. do i need to have a lawyer to represent this case? i've never been convicted/charged for criminal acts before.

Re: paraphenelia

Sorry Bud, there is too much here unanswered, you have to find the money to hire an attorney, to at least advise you how to plead. You do not tell us what the charges are, and you may be elligable for (I forget what they call it in PA) pre-trial intervention.

You should absolutely talk to an attorney. There are likely search and seizure issues that must be addressed by an attorney. Feel free to call our offices--we offer competitive rates, and I will personally handle your case.

Yes, you need an attorney. A lot of what could happens depends on your prior criminal record, if any.
