Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

has 3 dui last pa but has detainer in md

my grandson is in the lycoming orison on a 3rd dui 2 that occur in md and this one in pa. md has a detainer the was served on 3/12/08 and he was incararted 3/25/08 he is concerned if this will be concurrent with md.or if he will be tranfered to md and still need to come back and finish up pa sentence.

He will most likely have to serve his sentence in Pa and then return to Maryland to serve the Maryland sentence. Also, if he was on parole or probation in Maryland, he can be re-sentenced in Maryland on the charges that were the subject of his probation or parole.
