Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

statue of limitations

What is the statue of limitations on drunk driving first offense in Pennsylvania. I had a D.U.I in 1991, went to court, was convicted and was supposed to pay a fine and attend school for driving. I never did pay the fine or attend any school and want to know how long they keep a record of that offense?

Re: statue of limitations

The statute of limitation(SOL) is not what is applicable in your case. The SOL applies to the filing of criminal charges. You were convicted. You owe the fines and any suspension time. A lawyer can help you obtain a restoration requirements letter which will show you exactly what needs to be done to restore your PA driving privileges.
