Can my daughter come and live with me if there is no custody papers between myself and her father?

Sure. Both parents have the right to equal access to or control of their child. However, you leave out a great deal of information.

If your child decides to move with you and the child's other parent does not agree, then he or she can bring a custody action in the county/state where the child resided previously. If no action is brought and the child lives with you for at least 6 months, then your county/state will bethe home state of the child should either parent choose to bring a custody action.

Depending on the age of the child and the home state of the child, the laws can vary. At a minimum, the courts will decide where the child should live based on the child's best interests.
