Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

support cases

hello i was just wondering if my sons father is late on payments how long will it take or how many payments would he have to be late on for them to do anything,. it always takes 3 months for any court hearing to go through and i have a babysitting bill every week to pay and when he is late i have a very hard time paying it. i have full custody of my son his father sees him every other weekend, i have him covered under insurance everything. he only pays $75.00 a week and that is not even half the babysitting bill. i have had him covered under insurance for 4 years now. he is only 4. i just think it is a little infair. can you please help me. Thank You.

Re: support cases

If you want assistance from the court you need to be proactive and file a petition for contempt. The court won't act on its own.
