Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

AKC dog custody

We have a dog we purchased, on a co-ownership over, 5 years ago for $750. After a dispute over future puppies from said dog, we agreed to pay $2000 more for sole ownership. We paid but were 2 months late. They took us to court out of state in Maryland and were awarded sole custody of said dog. We were not present in Maryland for this judgement. They have since petioned AKC for her papers and this has just happened. The co-owners are from Canada. We live in PA. Please advise as to what we need to do to reverse this judgment against us.

Re: AKC dog custody

I suggest you consult with a Maryland lawyer. How does Maryland have jurisdiction? You need legal advice and evaluation of all the facts.
