Subpoena Criminal/Summary Case

Why would you be subpoenaed to be a witness for commonwealth when you are also a defendant in the came case? This is a for a noise citation.

We don't know what's in the prosecutor's mind, but my guess would be to assure your attendance. Defendants often don't show up.

However, as a defendant (assuming it's a criminal and not civil citation) you have a right to refuse to testify and you should definitely be represented by an attorney to advise you what to do.
